Choosing a memorial that marks the grave of a loved one is different for everyone and can be overwhelming. We are here to assist you every step of the way. It is our mission to come along beside you in this time of need. We promise to provide attentive, caring service at a fair price.
-We have thousands of religious, scenic, and artistic designs to choose from. We can personalize your loved one's memorial with any design you may have in mind. Engraving can also be done in many different languages.
-Monuments are offered in a variety of colors including gray, black, brown, red, green, blue and many more that are being imported.
-A computer generated printout will be mailed to you. This will help you visualize what your design will look like before the monument is engraved. The printout will also give you a second opportunity to double check the spelling of the names and dates. We require your approval and complete satisfaction of the printout before any engraving is started on the memorial.
-We can work closely with your church, temple, cemetery and funeral home to help lift some of your burdens.
-Granite headstones and markers may be purchased pre-need. Then, the sandblasting of the final date may be added later at the cemetery.
-We can also supply flower vases, foot stones, and cornerstones in matching granite.
Designing Your Memorial
We understand how difficult it can be designing a memorial. Each of us has lost a parent at a young age. We are prepared to assist you in designing a special monument in loving memory of someone close to your heart. Listed below are the steps we suggest you to take before purchasing a monument.
Purchasing a memorial is a major investment of time and money and should be undertaken with great thought and care. We recommend careful and relaxed planning when purchasing a memorial.
-Whether you are making immediate or pre-need arrangements for a funeral or purchasing cemetery property, you should know that you and your family ARE NOT obligated to purchase a monument from a funeral home or a cemetery. In fact, a good argument can be made to delay the purchase of a memorial, the one visual and lasting tribute, until other matters are complete.
-We are a reliable source of information regarding the various regulations of the cemeteries in our area.
-Visit our office, our display, or our facebook page to see different styles of monuments and markers. We also offer home services if you are unable to come to us. Monument purchases can also be made completely by phone, fax, or through the mail or email without you having to even come to our office.
-Your wishes and our suggestions will combine to help you decide on the appropriate text, floral, epitaphs and meaningful symbols for your memorial. We will prepare a printout for you to review to help you visualize the finished memorial as well as to check for any possible errors before the final work is completed on the stone.
This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
Remember your loved ones by having a picture placed on their memorial and make them live in the minds of future generations. Pictures will always bring back beautiful memories. Have your favorite photograph permanently transferred onto porcelain, marble, or granite.
The granite we use for our memorials comes from some of the finest quarries in the world. The most common gray granite is quarried in Elberton, Georgia, the supplier for the stone used for many of the famous monuments in Washington, DC. Granite is a tough, durable rock composed primarily of three different minerals.
These minerals are easy to see due to their different colors. The white mineral grains found in granite are feldspar. It is the most abundant mineral found in granite. The light gray, glass-like grains are quartz, and the black, flake-like grains are biotite or black mica. The stone industry recognizes granite as one of the hardest stones known to man, ensuring a beautiful monument that will endure for decades to come.
Elberton Granite has been a stone of choice for public and private memorials as well as countless commercial uses for almost 100 years. Each piece of stone is inspected for any possible flaws. We then engrave your granite memorial by means of sandblasting, a very precise method of memorializing a loved one.

-Try to always send us a good, clear picture, studio portrait, snapshot, either in black & white or in color.
-Be sure that the face of the subject is not too small, as it would not look well when enlarged.
